This module presents foundational basics of ultrasound at the point-of-care.

Upon completion of the module, participants should have a solid understanding of the application of ultrasound for the aorta and IVC.

The author of Ultrasound Basics is Dr. Chris Moore, Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine as our lead contributor and author. Dr. Moore is fellowship trained in emergency ultrasound and has founded and directed the Section of Emergency Ultrasound at Yale.
