Synopsis

This module presents the use of ultrasound in procedures.

Upon completion of the module, participants should have a solid understanding of the principles of procedural ultrasound and some of the commonly used sonography techniques.

The author is Dr. Chris Moore, Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine as our lead contributor and author. Dr. Moore is fellowship trained in emergency ultrasound and has founded and directed the Section of Emergency Ultrasound at Yale.
