  • Start high and move down lateral to sternum

  • Aorta (Ao) – root in center
    • Descending aorta posterior
  • Left atrium (LA) posterior
  • Left ventricle (LV) and apex
  • Mitral valve well visualized
    • Anterior/posterior leaflets
